Cookie Policy
This policy describes cookies and similar browser storage on HelloTap. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. Different rules can apply to an external website or to integrations configured by the owner of a card.

Essential session and security storage keeps HelloTap working. Language and interface preferences remember choices you request. You can review optional preferences without agreeing to marketing.
Operator and scope
HelloTap is operated by Mars AI Technology Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 14863498. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
This policy covers www.hellotap.online and the platform features operated by us. Card owners and external services must provide their own information for technologies they add or control.
What cookies and local storage do
A cookie is a small item of information sent to your browser and returned with relevant requests. Local storage is stored in your browser and is not automatically sent with every request. Both can remember settings or identifiers. Server-side operational visit records are described separately in the Privacy Policy; rejecting optional cookies does not switch off security logs.
Essential cookies
| Name or family | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| hellotap_session | Secure session, sign-in and continuity between requests. | Up to 2 hours of session inactivity; renewed with use. |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Helps protect forms against cross-site request forgery. | Up to 2 hours; renewed with the session. |
| remember_web_* | Optional “remember me” sign-in, only when requested. | Persistent; logging out or clearing cookies removes the browser copy. |
| Cloudflare security cookies, where set | Network protection, bot challenges and request integrity. | Depends on the security control, often a session or challenge period. |
The exact cookies present depend on your session and any security challenge. Essential cookies cannot be switched off through our optional preference controls; blocking them in your browser can prevent sign-in or form submission.
Preference storage
| Name or family | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| app_language | Records a language selection. Public-page language remains determined by the URL. | Up to 1 year. |
| appearance, themeMode, layoutDirection and interface preference storage | Remembers requested display, direction and account-interface choices where the feature is used. | Session or persistent, depending on the setting; removable through browser controls. |
| cookie-consent | Stores necessary/analytics/marketing preferences and their expiry in local storage. | 180 days, unless changed or cleared sooner. |
| cookie-consent-accepted | Compatibility marker for the preference interface. | Until local storage is cleared; it does not replace the expiring preference record. |
Optional analytics, marketing and integrations
HelloTap’s own marketing pages do not currently load an advertising pixel or a third-party marketing analytics tag. Selecting an optional category does not install a tool that is not present. Where optional technologies are offered, their purposes must be disclosed and the required consent or other applicable legal conditions met before use.
A card owner may configure external analytics, embeds, social links or other integrations. Their page-specific technology and the external destination may be governed by that owner’s notice and the provider’s policy. The platform’s preference record is not a promise that every independently configured third-party destination uses the same controls. Do not enable tracking on a card without the notices and permissions that apply.
Reviewing or changing preferences
Open cookie preferences to save a new choice, allow only necessary storage, or review optional categories. You can do this again at any time. Closing the interface without saving does not give consent to optional categories. Preferences are specific to the browser and device used; clearing browser storage removes them.
The preference interface stores the categories you select with a timestamp and expiry. Saving the choice does not request your IP location from an external geolocation service. You can also inspect, block and remove cookies in your browser settings.
External providers and further information
Cloudflare processes network and security information as described in its Privacy Policy. Payment interfaces, external media and linked sites may use their own storage. Consult the provider’s notice before using them.
